If you want to be the first to know about what is being built in our community, next Wednesday’s Kingwood Chamber of Commerce luncheon is for you. The Chamber will hold its”Buck Builds Here” Lunch on April 7 at The Nathaniel Center at 804 Russell Palmer Road in Kingwood. The 4th annual event is a chance for the Chamber to showcase new construction in town through the eyes of its mascot, Buck the deer.
The program includes a message from Kingwood Medical Center’s CEO, Melinda Stephenson. She will discuss the hospital’s plans for a two-floor addition to its building. The Kingwood Pines Hospital will also be represented to review the renovation that is taking palce at their location on Ladbrook Dr. Everyone will also get an update on one of the most anticipated additions to the area in some time: the new Starplex Cinemas Theater which is being built at the intersection of North Park Dr. and Hwy. 59.
Networking and exhibits will start at 11 a.m. and the program will begin at noon. Admission is $20 for members and guests which includes lunch by Chef Art from the Kingwood Country Club.
