Kings Harbor Plaza will shake, rattle and roll during the Keller Williams concert in April. Elvis Tribute Artist Vince King will perform at the free Viva Las Vegas Concert on Friday, April 16 from 7-10 p.m. at Kings Harbor. He will be joined by a special guest act, the Keller Williams Thriller Dancers, who will be doing a tribute to the late, great Michael Jackson.
Vince King is a “dead ringer” for the younger version of Elvis. For more than five years, he has worked as an ETA (Elvis Tribute Artist, for short) traveling all over the country. He has performed for Legends in Concert, the Galveston Mardi Gras and the Houston Rodeo Cook Off.
He describes his show as “dynamic and very authentic”. He works hard to keep the memory of Elvis Presley alive through replicating his costumes, haunting voice and dance moves. He takes his audience on a journey through Elvis’ history-making career: from the Fifties to the Elvis movie years to the 1968 Comeback Special to the Las Vegas act of the Seventies. His act is sure to delight all ages.
The concert’s charity guest will be FamilyTime Crisis and Counseling Center, the beneficiary of the Keller Williams Viva Las Vegas Gala scheduled for Sept. 25 at the Marriott Hotel, George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The non-profit organization based in Humble provides free crisis intervention, counseling, support groups and legal advocacy to all victims of domestic abuse. FamilyTime also runs The Door, the only domestic violence shelter in Northeast Harris County.
Kings Harbor is located at 1660 W. Lake Houston Pkwy. in Kingwood between Kingwood Dr. and FM 1960.
