Kady and Andrea Treat Keller Williams Guests to a Relaxing Concert Event on a Beautiful Spring Night

Kady and Andrea, the Nashville-based country-pop duo, entertained a packed Kings Harbor crowd with a wonderful evening of music sponsored by the agents at Keller Williams. Joined by band members Dave Wheeler on lead guitar, Neil Harrison on bass guitar, Grant Cates on keyboards and Will Cruz on percussion, the duo performed a range of original songs, covers of recent hits and excellent renditions of country-rock classics.

Kady Malloy, a talented vocalist and American Idol semi-finalist who is originally from Katy, and Andrea Young, an outstanding fiddler and vocalist, put on a great show under a full moon on a refreshing Spring night.

Kady quickly captivated the crowd with her soulful voice by singing, “Raise a Little Cain,” a song co-written by Andrea. The first set also featured covers of “Wild Horses” and “Hotel California” – highlighted by dueling guitar and fiddle solos.

Between sets, Andrea patiently worked her way through a sea of children who gathered by the stage and allowed each of them to test out her fiddle. Kady and Andrea also took photos with several fans and signed autographs.

The duo quickly brought couples to the dance floor during the second set with a cover of “Stay,” a recent Sugarland hit. Kady spoke about their love and admiration for the group Led Zeppelin, and they played two of their classics, “Going to California” and “Babe,” along with covers of recent hits by Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

Kady and Andrea finished the night strong with a third set that showcased Andrea’s fiddle skills with a solo on The Beatles classic, “Come Together.” They closed with their original “Gone Song,” which is soon-to-be-released to iTunes, but the crowd wouldn’t let them stop there. They were cheered into an encore of “a wild version” of the Eagle’s Hotel California.

“The Kings Harbor venue is a very lovely and wonderful surprise for us,” remarked Andrea . “It is a beautiful place to have a concert.”

Faces in the crowd included Lynn Harper, executive director of Society of St. Stephen, and Brad, Stan and Linda Holibaugh of ServiceMaster Restoration and Cleaning. Introduced by Keller Williams Realty Northeast Agent Roland Duhon, they represented the featured charity and the band sponsor of the concert.

The Society of St. Stephen sold sponsorships to their annual Ladies’ Tennis Charity Tournament which will be held on Saturday, May 11 at Kingwood Country Club. The Society of St. Stephen is a community outreach agency serving people living in the Humble, New Caney and Splendora school districts.
