The band Lost Element will perform at the Keller Williams Concert at Kings Harbor on Friday, March 16 from 7-10 p.m. The free spring break concert is presented by the agents at Keller Williams Realty Northeast and the band is sponsored by Texan GMC. Jake Muck, the March winner of the Kingwood’s Got Talent Contest, will open the concert from 6-7 p.m.
Lost Element is made up of four Kingwood natives: Brian Barrett, Trace Sisson, Trevor Luthy and Omar Lopez. Barrett, Sisson and Luthy started the band as sophomores at Kingwood High School in 2002. After going their separate ways in college, the trio joined forces with Lopez in 2010 to re-form Lost Element and release the album “Back Again.” The album’s alternative rock music ranges from acoustic piano ballads to unique blends of guitar distortion. Lost Element was voted 2011 Texas Buzz Music Awards New Band of the Year.
Muck is a pop and R&B singer, dancer and songwriter, who is a senior at Splendora High School. He was a top-ten finalist in The Woodland’s Idol Contest, advanced to the fifth round of American Idol, and also won the Houston Hot 95.7 Justin Bieber contest. He has performed at Six Flags Over Texas, the Houston Children’s Festival and The Woodland’s Children Festival.
The concert’s guest charity is Society of St. Stephen, a community outreach program assisting families in need of food and clothing. They will hold a fund-raising raffle with prizes from the Kings Harbor tenants. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Keller Williams will introduce a Kidz Korner at the concert with face painting and other activities for children.
