The Level One Band will perform vintage Motown and disco music at the free Keller Williams Concert at Kings Harbor on Friday, July 20 from 7-10 p.m. The tribute to the Temptations, the Supremes and Aretha Franklin is being presented by the Agents at Keller Williams Realty Northeast and the band is being sponsored by Texan GMC.
Band members are Reginald Wheatley on drums, Jeff Sritmatter on guitar, Mike Hobdy on keyboards, and Terry Jenkins on bass guitar along with vocalists Anchris Morgan and Narissa Johnson. Wheatley is a founding member of the Kingwood-based band which has been entertaining since 1991.
The concert’s guest charity is Blue Star Mothers Houston chapter, which supports families of those serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. At the concert, the non-profit organization will be collecting beef jerky and individual powder drink mixes, including instant coffee, for care packages for the troops. The group will also hold a fund-raising raffle with prizes from the Kings Harbor merchants. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
Children will be entertained at the Keller Williams Kidz Korner, providing face painting and Game Kraze video games in turn for a donation to the charity.
