Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) Announces 3rd Quarter 2010 Top Producing Agents

On November 17, the Houston Association of REALTORS® announced its top 50 REALTORS® for the third quarter 2010 based on dollar production and number of transactions. Out of the organization’s 25,000 members, six Keller Williams Realty Northeast Agents were named HAR Top Producers.

Doug Erdy, Karen Cox, Jerry Garcia and Jan Jackson were named Top Producing Buyer’s Agents Based on Number of Buyer-side MLS Sales Transactions in 3rd Quarter 2010.

“It’s pretty hard to make (Top Producer) since our price point in this area is lower than inside the (Interstate 610) Loop, but it’s an honor for me and my team,” said Erdy in response to the HAR accolade. “Knowing times are tough for everyone, we are just working harder to meet our goals.”

Diana Coleman was named a Top Producing Buyer’s Agent Based on Dollar Volume Buyer-side MLS Sales Transactions in 3rd Quarter 2010.

“Many of my clients took advantage of attractive home pricing and exceptionally low interest rates,” said Coleman about the third quarter results. “Some wanted to purchase their ‘dream home’ while others saw an opportunity to down-size their lifestyles. This market requires realistic goals and a ‘can do’ attitude. Buyers and sellers must be ready to make their move or the opportunity may pass them by.”

On the listing side, Karen Fahrmeier was recognized as a Top Producing Listing Agent Based on both Number of Listing-side MLS Sales Transactions and Dollar Volume Listing-side MLS Sales Transactions in 3rd Quarter 2010.

In other real estate news this week, Erdy was awarded 2010 Community Leader of the Year by the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Lake Houston Chapter. He was acknowledged for his golf tournament which raised over $10,000 for Blue Star Mothers, his charity toy drives, his membership on the HAR Governmental Affairs Committee and his more than twenty years of service as a volunteer fire fighter.
