This Saturday kicks off the Holiday season in Kingwood with events at two major retail complexes in town.
Kings Harbor will hold its Third Annual Holiday at the Harbor Concert on Saturday, December 4 at 4:30 p.m. The free concert features the Kingwood Big Band & Chorale and amazing new holiday lighting at the Harbor. Check out the “bubble” Christmas tree in the Harbor Plaza at night!
Town Center will hold its annual holiday celebration Christmas in the Park and Tree Lighting from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 4. The program includes entertainment by local organizations, Santa Claus, and vendors’ booths for holiday shopping.
One of the booths will be operated by the folks from Team JOSEPH. The organization is conducting fundraising for the long term medical care costs for Joseph Stanton, a Kingwood teen who suffered a traumatic brain injury while skateboarding this summer. At its booth, Team JOSEPH will be selling wristbands for its Powder Puff Football Tournament and a new line of holiday Team JOSEPH long-sleeve t-shirts and hoodies. Pick up a wristband for $10 as admission to watch the tournament on Saturday, December 11 at Kingwood Park High School, or just get one to wear and show your support for the cause. If you can’t make it to Christmas in the Park, Stacey’s Dance Studio has the wristbands and Alsphaugh’s Ace Hardware has the Team JOSEPH clothing.
Mark your calendars for Friday, December 17 for Keller Williams free Holiday Concert at Kings Harbor with songs of the season by FEVER – The Ultimate Tribute Band. More details to follow in a future KWNE blog about this great event put on by the agents at Keller Williams Realty Northeast.
