Keller Williams Realty Northeast will celebrate rodeo season with some boot scootin’ fun at their free monthly concert at Kings Harbor in February. The concert is scheduled for Fri., Feb. 19 from 7-10 p.m. with a rain date of the following Friday. The Kingwood-based band 8 Seconds will provide the country music lead by Jeff Dean on the guitar.
Dance Arts Country Ballroom instructors will be kicking up their heals on the Harbor Plaza, leading line dances and teaching the crowd country dances at 8 p.m. and again at 9 p.m.
Pitt’s & Spitt’s will bring out their BBQ trailer to serve up their famous Texas barbecue. The Houston company is known for manufacturing high-end smokers used by the award winners at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo World Championship Cook-Off. Pitt’s & Spitt’s will start serving chopped beef sandwiches, chips and drinks starting at 6:30 p.m. while supplies last. (Cash only please.)
The special guest of the concert will be the Society of St. Stephen, a community outreach agency serving people living in the Humble, New Caney and Splendora school districts. The charity will be holding a raffle for two tickets to see Brooks & Dunn at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on March 20. These tickets are a hot commodity as this will be Brooks & Dunn’s last rodeo performance.
They will also be promoting the 2nd Annual Society of St Stephen Tennis tournament scheduled for May 11 at Kingwood Country Club.
